Primary Care Services
Awad Medical Aesthetics & Wellness provides PRIVATE primary care services by our Nurse Practitioner Cathy Awad. She is experienced in acute care and primary health care, alongside her specialty in dermatology and aesthetic services. Cathy Awad, NP has Primary Health Care Certification and takes clients of all ages. In-person and virtual appointments are available. Cathy Awad, NP can basically see you for most things your family doctor or a walk-in clinic doctor would see you for.
Services are not covered by OHIP, which means they are fee-for-service.
Basic appointments start at $35 and up. Fees for forms are quoted at time of request. Our lumps and bumps clinic fees (see typical services under minor procedures) will be quoted at time of request. Receipts are provided for all services.
Clients accepted based on consultation. Typical clients are those who need basic primary care services and do not have a primary care provider. Or those who wish to have certain aspects of their health care managed privately. Assessments, driver’s physicals, prescriptions, acute and chronic disease management, prescriptions, diagnostic imaging and referrals are some examples of services provided.
Our Nurse Practitioner provides women’s health services such as but not limited to: women’s health exams (PAP tests), STI testing, contraception assessments and treatments, IUD insertion and pre-natal services.
Cathy Awad, NP provides services that are not typically covered by OHIP, or commonly known as non-insured services which we call our “lumps and bumps clinic”, see the services listed below under 'minor procedures' below.

Lesion removal that requires suturing: (Episodic + $100, $10 per additional lesion) includes suture removal follow up.
Cryotherapy (Verucca Freeze): (Episodic x 1 + $20/lesion up to 3 small lesions, $10 thereafter) – No episodic charge for repeat treatments (lesion fee only).
Knee injections (Cortisone): (Episodic + $40 per knee) (PRP: Episodic +$700 per knee)

Sclerotherapy: removal of spider veins by injection. Starts at $50 and up $200. Price quoted at time of appointment.
Treatment of hyperhidrosis: fee depends on units used; may qualify for Botox Access Program for fee reduction if 3rd party benefits cover. Please check with your insurance provider, as we do not know each insurer policy details.
Botox for chronic migraine $150 injection fee. Must bring own Botox.
Receipts provided for all Primary Care, Episodic Care Nurse Practitioner services. May apply to benefits plan. Discretion is per insurance company. Client must check with insurance company. Direct billing for GSC compression stockings only.
